FAIRHOPE, Ala.—FrugalFairhope.com recently launched a Web site to help people find deals during a tough economy. It offers downloadable coupons as well as an organized comprehensive way to find deals anywhere.
Started by Frances Chancery, the goal of the site is to use the Web to help to build friendships, contacts and a network that will help people share the ways they know and use to save money.
“FrugalFairhope.com is a platform anyone, anywhere, can use to help find good buys. It is a way to bring like-minded people together to share their ideas on a very relevant topic—saving your hard earned money during rough financial times,” said Chancery.
Featuring links to deals at restaurants, as well as grocery, department and drug stores, Chancery and her network of like-minded thrifty shoppers keep the site up to the minute on hot bargains and even freebies.
The front page of the site reads as follows:
“Welcome to Frugal Fairhope. By using this site you will have better than a ‘fair hope’ of success at finding deals. Like most towns, Fairhope comes with a price, but by taking advantage of the deals posted on Frugal Fairhope, it doesn’t have to be a high one. New friends are always welcome so grab a glass of sweet tea and come visit with us for a while.”
Chancery says she means what she wrote on the home page.
“Fairhope is a sweet, southern town and we love that small-town feeling, so I want to be sure that the site exemplifies that sentiment of community to everyone on the Web.”
Go to FrugalFairhope.com today to read the blog, post comments, download coupons or become a subscriber—in keeping with the frugal theme, it is all free of charge.
