Fun with feed sacks for National Archive Month

Posted

To celebrate National Archives Month, the Baldwin County Archives Department recently held a presentation on the history and uses of feed sacks at the Baldwin County Commission chambers in Bay Minette. Coletta Bailey with the Baldwin County Heritage Museum gave a riveting talk about the cultural importance and incredible uses of feed sacks, dating from the late 1800s to the 1970s.
