Julie Pierce, the principal of Gulf Shores Elementary School, slept on the roof of the school recently! She promised the students if they reached their goal in selling discount cards for our fundraiser, she would spend the night on the roof. She is shown in top photo. The students came so close to reaching their goal so, being the good sport that she is, Mrs. Pierce came through on the deal and slept all night on the roof of our school! At 8:15 a.m., the student body went outside to wake her up … very loudly! We love our principal! Thank you to all of the parents and supporters who bought cards to help raise money for our school.
