Future senior living center joins South Baldwin Chamber

FOLEY, Ala. - The new Foley-based assisted living residence, Country Place Senior Living, held its ribbon cutting to celebrate joining the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.

The senior living residence held a groundbreaking to signify it will begin construction soon, and it is expected to be completed by Spring 2012. The assisted living residence will be located at 615 E. Laurel Ave. It will provide 22 suites fully equipped with private bathrooms, den and sleeping areas and a hospitality kitchen. There also will be a dining area, indoor and outdoor social area, exercise facility, library and a concrete storm shelter. It will be be the biggest assisted living residence in the area, Angela Booth, the director of development finance, said.

"We're just very excited to be a part of the Foley community," she said. "We look forward to a continued positive working relationship with the chamber and the city of Foley."
