Richard B. Fye 83, a native of Lockhaven, Pa., and a resident of Fairhope for over 50 years, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Fairhope.
He retired from Scott Paper Company after 26 years of service.
Survivors include five daughters, Linda Cudworth of Fairhope, Carolyn Borneman of Chattanooga, Tenn., Edwina Johnson of Danville, Va., Deborah Bryant of Ft. Mohave, Ariz., Martha Ann Arangua of Rialto, Calif.; two sons, Richard F. Fye of Grand Bay and J.R. Fye Eady of Brewton; sister, Dorothy Miller of Mill Hall, Pa.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Joyce Horton and the staff of Oakland Place for their special care and dedication.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 14 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Interment will be at Brook Cedron Cemetery.
