Denzil Floyd Garner, 91, a native of Auburn, Ky., and a resident of Foley, died Thursday, May 14, 2009, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Pearlie Garner of Foley; two sons, Allen (Diane) Rice of Gulf Shores and Denzil Garner Jr. of Opelika, Kan.; two daughters, Patricia Rice and JoAnn (Tim) McDonald, both of Foley; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 17 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Michael Hartzelle officiating. Interment will follow at Lay Cemetery.
