Daniel Judson Gay III, 75, a native of Mobile and a resident of Daphne, died Saturday, March 27, 2010.
He retired from the U.S. Navy, where he proudly served as a Naval Pilot.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Durant Gay of Daphne; two sons, Daniel D. Gay of Tulsa, Okla., and Branden Durant Gay of Daphne; four daughters, Kecia Gay (John) Chason of Spanish Fort, Shawnte Gay (Cole) Jeffrey and Kaiya D. Gay, both of Long Beach, Miss., and Blakeli M. Gay of Daphne; grandchildren, Matthew Wallace and Gregory Wallace of Spanish Fort, Eric Alexander of Lafayette, La., and Lleyton Gay of Tulsa; one great-grandchild, Aubrielle Dozier.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 4 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne. Graveside services and interment will held on at 10:15 a.m. Monday, April 5 at Barrancas National Cemetery.
