ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Legendary college football coach Gene Stallings will be back in Orange Beach next weekend for speaking engagements, meet and greets and football commentary for guests at Turquoise Place and the Beach Club in Orange Beach.

Stallings, most famous for coaching the University of Alabama to the 1992 college football national championship, will provide commentary on the Alabama-Florida football game on Oct. 1 at Turquoise Place. Prior to that, Stallings will take part in a meet and greet event and will sign copies of his book “Another Season.” The event is for Turquoise Place guests.

On Oct. 2 Stallings will make an appearance at The Beach Club’s Southbeach Restaurant for brunch. Prior to brunch, a meet and greet will be held for Spectrum Resorts’ guests like the one at Turquoise Place. Later that morning at the restaurant, he will hold a post-game talk where he recaps the Alabama-Florida game, as well as talks about his life as a coach and what he is doing now. Brunch is open to the public.
