Geneave Werner Dean, 59, a native and resident of Elsanor, died Saturday, March 5, 2011.
She dedicated her life to serving God and studying the Bible.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Travis Dean of Elsanor; daughter, Elizabeth (Kyle) Goodwin of Loxley; two sons, Christopher Dean of Mobile and James Dean of Foley; her mother, Annie L. Werner of Elsanor; father, James Werner of Elsanor; sister, Vicky Wyatt of Foley; four brothers, Ronnie Werner, Tommy Werner and Jimmy Werner, all of Elsanor, and Johnny Werner of Summerdale; four grandchildren, Danielle, Anthony, Peyton and Cooper.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at Mack Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 10 at Liberty Cemetery, Stapleton.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Ferry Pass Church of Christ or to the Know Your Bible Program at the Summerdale Church of Christ.
