George Glerum Christman, 91, of Holland, Mich., and a former resident of Foley, and Phoenix, Ariz., died Sunday, April 22, 2012.
He was born July 6, 1920 to George S. and Adrianne (Glerum) Christman in Grand Haven, Mich. He was veteran of WW II and was stationed in New Guinea.
George is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, Bruce (Barbara,) Austin, Texas, Mark (Melinda,) Lansing, Mich., Brian (Chanda,) Grand Haven, Mich., and Kevin (MaryLynne,) Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Giselle Fox (David,) Phoenix, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, George S. and Adrianne Christman; and two brothers, James and Normand Christman.
