George Joseph Galavage Jr., a resident of Lillian, passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helene Galavage; his parents, George Joseph Galavage Sr.; and his wife, Julie Bassig.
Survivors include his daughters; Suzanne (Kevin) Ryan of Plantsville, Conn., Dianne (Filip) of Lillian and Joanne (Jim) of Southington, Conn.; grandchildren; Kevin Ryan Jr., Evan Carroll and Nolah Carroll; brothers, Michael (Tish) Galavage and Francis Galavage; sisters, Joan (Frank) Machita and Lorraine (John) Pontician; cousin, Maryann Campbell; and many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at 10 a.m.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Prince of Peace Cemetery.
