George Mack Mitchell, 53, native of Mobile and resident of Fairhope, passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2011.
George was an employee of the city of Fairhope.
He is survived by a son, Jeremy Mitchell and his fiancée, Jessica Peacock, of Prattville; mother, Loui Saunders of Fairhope; father, George Ellis (Tamara Olen) Mitchell of Cleveland, Ala.; two brothers, Mike Mitchell of Fairhope and John (Kandi) Mitchell of Mobile; a sister, Missy Saunders of St. Augustine, Fla.; aunts, uncles and other loving relatives.
George was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Mitchell.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Pine Crest Cemetery, Citronelle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
