George William Bridges, 80, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015, in Pensacola.
Mr. Bridges was a native of Leavenworth, Wash. and a resident of Atmore for the past 40 years.
His mother-in-law, Reva McGhee; and brother, Gordon Morrison preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Betty Joyce Bridges of Atmore; son, Robin Jay of Atmore; two daughters, Kelly (Jay) Milstid of Stockton and Patricia Cameron; grandchildren, Meghan Cameron, Ethan Powell, Skylyn Milstid and Chason and Ashley Jay; and special friends, Annice and Don Atwell of Dothan.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 9, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Bubba Rolin officiating.
Burial will follow at New Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jay Kenny Milstid, Robin Jay, Chason Jay, Larry Jackson, Don Atwell and Matthew Luker.
