William T. “Stretch” Germany, 50, a native of Alabama and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at a local hospital.
He was a devoted son and brother and an avid fisherman. He was a beloved member of the Souvenir City family. His favorite life assignment was beeing Ella’s uncle.
Through his generosity and friendship, he aquired many friends who became extended family during his illness. His presence will be missed in all of their lives.
Survivors include his parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Germany of Mobile; brother, Murff (Sandra) Germany of Atlanta; sister, Christie (Buddy) Fiedler of Mobile; niece, Lindsay Fiedler of Mobile; nephew, Justin Fiedler of Reno, Nev.; grand niece, Ella Fiedler of Mobile; very special friends, Clyde and Annette Weir of Gulf Shores.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Interment will follow at Miller Memorial Cemetery, Gulf Shores.
