Several events on Saturday and another on Sunday are available to celebrate this Christian holiday.
On Saturday there is Breakfast with the Bunny in Gulf Shores at the Meyer Civic Center. First 50 kids get a free picture with the Easter Bunny. Breakfast at 8 a.m. is $5, free to those 3 and under, and an Easter egg hunt starts at 10 a.m.
At 11:30 a.m. on Saturday there will be 5,000 eggs on the Marina Lawn at The Wharf for kids to find. There will be bouncy houses, live bunnies and pictures with the Easter Bunny as well.
The Easter Bunny will parachute on the beach at the Flora-Bama after a 2 p.m. Saturday Easter egg hunt with yet another 5,000 eggs hidden.
Top off the weekend with a sunrise service at the Hangout’s outside stage led by Gulf Shores United Methodist Church. Services start at 6:30 a.m.
