Gloria Juanita Langham Gilliland, 70, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at her residence.
She was a retired drug tech for Green’s Pharmacy and North Baldwin Pharmacy.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Bell; and two brothers, Jimmy and Donald Langham.
Survivors include her husband, Clark H. Gilliland of Bay Minette; two sons, Joel (Lisa) Bell of Montgomery and Bart (Micki) Bell of Augusta, Ga.; step-son, Bill (Patti) Gilliland of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Deborah (Freddie) Teal of Troy and Judy Cox of Atlanta; two step-daughters, Marsha (Denton) McDugle and Kathy (Richard) Blanton, both of Houston; sister, Dorothy Ryan of Bay Minette; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 8 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Henry Cox and Dr. Chip Starnes officiating. Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Teal, Corey Bell, Cody Bell, Bill Gilliland, Freddie Teal, Denton McDugle, Logan Cox, Colby Cox, Blake Bell and Spence Bell. Honorary pallbearers were Norman Sizemore, Kevin Pimperal, Gene Kyser, Harley Blackstock, Eddie Ryan and Ernie Ryan.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Community Hospice, 311 D’Olive Street, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
