Richard A. Ginwright, 67, a native and longtime resident of Foley, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at his residence.
He was an educator for many years. he taught at Aaronville High School in Foley for five years. He later moved to Chicago, where he taught at Our Lady of Sorrows for two years. He then became the director of special programs with the Chicago Catholic Charities.
After leaving the Catholic Charities, he became the director of admissions at Sawyer College in Chicago and then retired to his home in Foley where he volunteered with local organizations.
Survivors include four children, two sisters, a special friend, Lula Miner; seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at Little Rock Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Southside Cemetery in Foley.
