Gisela Litzlbeck Williams, age 81, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Robertsdale Healthcare Center.

The family will received friends Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 1 p.m. EST, at Concord Baptist Church near Phenix City. Ms. Williams was a resident of Robertsdale for the past eight years, and a former resident of the Phenix City, area for the most of her life. Williams was born in Munich, Germany, on March 16, 1931, the daughter of Sebastian Litzlbeck and Magdalena Mittermuller Litzlbeck. She came to the United States in 1954 and became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1961. She loved gardening and worked in the green house business for several years as well as many years as a retail associate for several businesses in Phenix City/ Columbus, Ga area. She was most recently a long-time employee of Terry’s Grocery in Smiths Station where she was a favorite of Terry’s customers. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Williams is preceded in death by her husband of twenty-six years, Frederick Williams. She is survived by three children, Rob Williams of Robertsdale; Dian Lundy and David Williams, both of Fredericksburg, Va; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
