Ethelyn Rotch Givhan, 84, a native of Clarke County and a resident of Fairhope, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at a local health care facility.
She attended Clarke County High School and Auburn University. She worked at South Central Bell from 1945 until her retirement in 1981.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Oneta Rotch; four sisters, Oline Taraci, Johnnie Sherman, Mary Lee Horelick and Cynthia Corbit; four brothers, Lamar Rotch, Elroy Rotch, R.C. Rotch Jr. and Obed Earl Rotch.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Paul) Giattina of Fairhope; one grandson, Justin (Kelly) Morris of Spanish Fort; brother, Thomson (Maxine) Rotch of Fairhope; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
