Gladys Eddins Johns, 89, born in Walnut Hill, Fla. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Oakwood Nursing Home.
She was a clerk for the Baldwin County Department of Human Resources.
She is survived by three sons, Charles E. (Ann) Johns of Brewton, Adrian T. (Myra) Johns of Bay Minette and Michael W. (Linda) Johns of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Jeanette Weatherly of Dothan; seven grandchildren, Charles E. Johns Jr., Christopher E. Johns, Amy Johns Schlauder, Laura Lee Johns Chamberlain, Michael A. Johns, Brian G. Johns and Phillip W. Johns; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ed Deabler officiating.
Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 14, 2014, from noon until 2 p.m.
