Gladys H. Linnea “Linn” Forsman, age 85, a native of L’Anse, Mich., a resident of Silverhill for over 38 years, and a recent resident of Foley, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.
She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her decorating the house and church in traditional Swedish style for holidays, and was a long time member of the Norwegian Seaman’s Mission Ladies Aid Society which supported the mission in New Orleans. Her husband of 62 years Warren, predeceases her. She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Richard) Forsman Cleary of Parkland, Fla; two sons, Tom (Renee) Forsman and Eric (Sharon) Forsman both of Silverhill; one sister, Arlene Hails of Summerdale; one brother, Art Allert (Vivian) of L’Anse, Mich; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and relatives. A celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Silverhill Covenant Church, Silverhill. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Silverhill Covenant Church, P.O. Box 125, Silverhill, AL 36576. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Robertsdale.
