Gladys Hughen Boykin, 83, a native of Robertsdale and a resident of Loxley, died Monday, May 7, 2012.
Mrs. Boykin enjoyed fishing, gardening and family time.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann (Paul) Heyer, Loxley, and Rita (Terry) Manning, Wilmer; two sons, Richard Earl (Fay) Boykin Sr., Lucedale, Miss., and Lee Andrew Boykin, Wilmer; daughter-in-law, Sissy Boykin,Robertsdale; two brothers, Jake Lowery and Donnie Hughen, both of Robertsdale; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will beFriday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willie Smith officiating. Burial will be in Rock Cemetery in Robertsdale. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road, Suite D, Daphne, AL 36526.
