Gladys Lynette Daughtry, 89, a native of Samson, Ala. and resident of Fairhope, died peacefully at home, Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 to be with her Lord for a glorious 90th birthday party in Heaven with her many loved ones there.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Daughtry.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Daughtry of Fairhope; sister, Glennie Hambrick of Atlanta, Ga.; sister-in-law, Doris Childs of Athens, Ga.; brother-in-law, J.B. (Tura) Daughtry of Dothan; nieces, nephews; and her faithful companion, Judah Cat.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Salvation Army.
