Glenda Faye Duncan Coleman, 69, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014 after a lengthy illness.
Glenda was born in Atmore on Oct. 6, 1945, but grew up in Mobile. As an adult Glenda returned to Escambia County to live in McCullough. While there, she met and later married Johnny R. Coleman and they raised their only child, Danny.
Later as a widow, Glenda moved to Fairhope and remained there until her death.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Willard M. (Bill) Duncan; and husband, Johnny R. Coleman.
Glenda is survived by her son, Danny Coleman and daughter-in-law, Claudia, of Fairhope; mother, Mildred Gaskin Duncan of Fairhope; two granddaughters, Sarah Ruth Coleman and Chloe Coleman; two sisters, Wanda J. Havranek and Lisa Duncan; brother-in-law, Bobby Havranek; nephew, Conrad Havranek; and other relatives and friends.
In accordance with Glenda’s wishes, there will be no service.
