Gloria Dean Durant, 60, a native of Mobile and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Wesley Lane.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Durant of Bay Minette; son, Jason (Beverly) Lane of Bay Minette; daughter, Yolanda (Gary) Akins of Bay Minette; four step-children, Karen (Randy) Ralston of Bay Minette, Tracy (Claude) Russel of Kentucky, Alicia (Bryan) McMann and Danny Durant Jr. of Grand Bay; sister, Linda Rutledge of Mobile; five grandchildren, Chasity Lane, Nicole Akins, Chasity Bryan, Zach Bryan and Kimberly Smith; eight great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 18 at White House Fork Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19 at the church with the Rev. Charles Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery.
Pallbearers are James Glover, Zachery Bryan, Leslie Johnson, Michael Akins, Albert Wasdin, Randy Ralston and George Lane.
