ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — It was a wild Saturday, Feb. 13, with a little bit of color added in as Robertsdale Elementary School hosted a pair of events to raise money for the school.

The annual Bear Crawl Color Run kicked off the day’s activities, which is a benefit for the RES Running Club. Proceeds also are being used to provide security improvements for the school.

The Color Run was followed by the school’s annual Wild Game Day. Held in conjunction with Campbell Hardware & Sporting Goods, in addition to plates featuring wild game favorites, the event included games and inflatables, vendors and demonstrations, a petting zoo featuring animals from the RES science lab, pony rides, an Easter photo booth with live bunnies, chicks and ducklings and a special appearance from Paisley, a trained monkey, all courtesy of Morris Farms of Elsanor.
