Jimmy Levell Goforth, 57, of Bowling Green, Ky., a former resident of Meridian, Miss., died Sunday, Dec, 7, 2008 at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green.
He was employed by General Motors in Bowling Green for 24 years. He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church in Bowling Green.
He was preceded in death by his father, W. J. Goforth.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Goforth, of Bowling Green; two sons, Shannon Goforth, of Meridian, Miss., and Adam Goforth of Bowling Green; daughter, Cara (Kenny) Mullen of Bowling Green; mother, Elizabeth Hartsfield (Harvey) Krumm of Foley; brother, Dale (Charlice) Goforth of Foley; sister Sarah (Mike) Hardy of Philadelphia, Miss.; two nieces and three nephews.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Dec. 10 at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, Bowling Green.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 at Springhill United Methodist Church cemetery.
