Gordon C. DeShaw, age 74 a native of Framingham, Mass., and a resident of Fairhope, passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Cary M. DeShaw of Fairhope; two sons, David G. (Jill) DeShaw of Windermere, Fla, and Jeffery M. (Mary Ellen) DeShaw of Woodstock, Conn; three brothers, George (Mary) DeShaw, John (Patricia) DeShaw all of Dennis, Mass, and Bobby DeShaw of Marlboro, Mass; five grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Shrine of The Holy Cross. The family will receive friends on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the John M. DeShaw Scholarship Fund, C/O Marion High School, 273 Union Ave., Framington, MA 01702-6390 or the Thomas Hospital Foundation, 750 Morphy Ave., Fairhope, AL. 36532. Burial will be at a later date.
