Grace Helen Deak Novak, 82, a resident of Daphne, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at her home, surrounded by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew Novak.
She was born Nov. 10, 1927, the daughter of Stephen and Mary Deak of Woodbridge, N.J.
Known for her generous and kind heart, she was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne where she sang in the choir.
Survivors include four children, Kenny (Debbie) Novak of Hurley, Miss., Judi Clark of Jacksonville, Fla., Steve (Tracey) Novak of Fairhope, and Mary (Dave) Paradis of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Debra (John) Onder of Holmdel, N.J., brother-in-law, Joseph Novak of Fairhope; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 12:30 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
