“The 7th annual "Tee Off Fore A Cure" weekend was a huge success for cancer patients at Children’s of Alabama. The events raised $60,000! It all kicked off with a pre-party filled with live music, patient testimonials by the Hirs family and Katie Hamlin, food and a wonderful silent auction that featured artwork from Children’s patients and the Exceptional Foundation. The next morning was too chilly for most runners and walkers, but a few brave souls braved the elements for Gracie’s Run 5K! Finally, over 110 golfers tee'd off for the tournament! Dr. Watts, Dr. Berkow and Dr. Whelan - all of Frances Graces doctors - came down for this special event - special, because Frances Grace has beaten leukemia twice!
