Michelle “Mimi” Arcement Graham, 50, a resident of Mobile, died Monday, June 16, 2008.

As a veterinary assistant at Parkway Animal Hospital, she did one of the things she loved best — caring for animals. She was amazingly gifted at making people laugh and constructing marvelous stuffed bears with the trademark “Keepers by Mimi” and was truly a Mardi Gras queen, the self-styled Empress of Mobile. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Lucille Arcement.

Survivors include two brothers, Philip (Marlene) Arcement and Larry (Rose) Arcement; two sisters, Carole Jean (Jack) Knochel and Marsha Ann Van Ess; special friends, Robert Landes, Kent Dueitt, Paul Diaz and Bruce Graham; nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

She will be greatly missed by her kitty babies, “Lucy,” “Murphy,” and “Dixie.”

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. from the funeral home chapel.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Mobile or Baldwin County Humane Society.

Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
