Mr. and Mrs. C. Bryan Graham of Tuscaloosa announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Hummer Graham, to Lemuel Kevin Williamson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Philip Williamson of Orange Beach.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Glenn Edwin Hummer Jr. and the late Mr. Hummer Jr. of Prairie Point, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Anderson Graham of Meridian, Miss.
She is a 2001 graduate of Central High School and attended the University of Alabama, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and received her Master of Business Administration in 2007. While at the University of Alabama, she received the Alumni Student Award and was a member of Golden Key International Honour Society, Ambassadors of the College of Engineering, Computer-Based Honors Program, and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. She is employed by ZF Lemforder in Tuscaloosa.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Freeda Willonese Williamson of Foley and the late Lemuel Morgan Williamson of Orange Beach, and the late Kenneth C. Robinson and Edith D. Robinson of Atmore.
He is a 2000 graduate of Foley High School and attended the University of Alabama, where he received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Million Dollar Band. He is employed by Engineering, Environmental, and Forestry Services Company, PC in Bessemer.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Aug. 16, 2008 at Christ Episcopal Church in Tuscaloosa.
