A grand opening for Fairhope’s newest condominium/ retail center, Olde Church Street, A Condominium, was recently held.

Organized by Jacqueline Dyer, of Coldwell Banker Reehl Properties Inc. and member of the United Way 2007 Wine and Art Festival Committee, the event celebrated title sponsors of the 7th Annual Fairhope Festival of Wine & Art. That event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 within walking distance on De La Mare, and featured local artist Kent Walsh in an impromptu art gallery right on the Church Street premises.

The invitation-only reception for owners and guests was held Oct. 5. Randy Williams, of Red or White Wines, had a “Taste of France” wine-tasting as jazz saxophonist Rebecca Barry and guitarist Jerry Gambino entertained guests with soulful music.

Guests had the opportunity to view the model unit furnished by Malouf interiors.

When contacted about becoming a title sponsor for the Wine & Art event, Dexter and Dan Corte agreed that it was a win-win situation.

Recently North Baldwin United Way and South Baldwin United Way combined to become the United Way of Baldwin County, which is made up of 45 health and human services agencies. The group that designed, constructed, funded and is marketing this addition to downtown Fairhope is: Olde Church Street Properties Inc., Bowden Architecture, TerMac Construction, Compass Bank and Coldwell Banker Reehl Properties.

The few remaining three-bedroom luxury residences may be viewed by appointment only by contacting listing agents Jacqueline Dyer, 533-7789, or Mike Hamilton, 377-6015, of Coldwell Banker Reehl Properties.

Tickets to the Fairhope Festival of Wine & Art can be bought at Red or White Wines on De La Mare or at any First National Bank of Baldwin County.

For sponsor information call 990-9260, 943-2110 or 937-9600.
