FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The Grandman Triathlon will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 31. Organizers are expecting around 500 participants who will be swimming, biking and running near and around the Fairhope Municipal Pier.
This is a major fundraiser for Mobile Baykeeper, Camp Rap-A-Hope and the Baldwin County Trailblazers.
While roads will not be closed to traffic during the race, the Fairhope Police Department is asking you to please exercise caution as there will be cyclists and runners on the roads on the south side of Fairhope.
The course will be monitored by the police to ensure minimal disruption of traffic flow during the event.
The city of Fairhope thanks you in advance for your help in making this fund-raiser a success. If you have questions regarding the race or race course, visit www.thegrandman.com, or call Mobile Baykeeper at (251) 433-4229.
