Granville “Lee” Spears, 80, of the Silverhill area, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Sue Spears; daughter, Donna Sue (Jim) Williams; son, Danny Lee (Debbie) Spears; five grandchildren; five nephews; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at Hughes Funeral Home in Daphne.
Visitation for friends will begin at noon. Interment with military honors will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee’s honor to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road S., Daphne, AL 36526.
