Gerald Blanton “G.B.” Green, 82, a native of Mobile and a resident of Fairhope, died Saturday July 18, 2009.
He was a member of Fairhope United Methodist Church. He retired fron South Central Bell, and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Doris B. Green of Fairhope; three sons, Gerald W. (Becky) Green of Gulf Shores, Terrill B. (Josephine) Green of Birmingham and Robert D. Green of Orlando, Fla.; daughter, Diane Gates of Birmingham; sister, Twilla Ragison of San Bruno, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren with No. 17 on the way; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 21 at Fairhope United Methodist Church. Burial with military honors will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
