Clifford Greene, 71, a native of Blacksher, and a resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at his residence.
He was a retired machine operator with International Paper Company in Bay Minette; was a veteran of the Korean war having served in the U.S. Navy; and was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Allen Green of Bay Minette; son, Tracy Juan Greene of Bay Minette; daughter, Sonya Greene (Lydell) Johnson of Bay Minette; four grandchildren, Tyler, Tara, Tanner and Tucker Johnson; three brothers, Charles Edward Green of Galveston, Texas, Arrie Willard Green of Robertsdale and Julian Frank Green of Gulf Shores; and two sisters, Sadie Mae Rider of Bay Minette and Carrie Louise Morris of Andalusia.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 2 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. James Thomson officiating. Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery with military honors.
Active pallbearers were, Vic Platt, Tyler Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Patrick Coleman, Robin Isaacson and Bobby Green.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
