Gregory Richard Peavy Sr., age 65, was a lifelong resident of Bon Secour, Ala. and he passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Vance Peavy; and Thelma Cooper Peavy.
Greg was a licensed professional counselor for over 20 years, and was well liked in the community. He was a very kind and generous man who would often go out of his way for his clients, and he was a very loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna Lartigue Peavy; and his son, Gregory Richard Peavy II, who followed in his footsteps as a counselor, along with other family and friends.
There will be a graveside service for Mr. Peavy, Saturday March 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Pine Rest Memorial Park, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Pine Rest Funeral Home.
