Greta Dean Weeks Tatum, a native of Beaverton and resident of Foley, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012. She was 74 years old.
Mrs. Tatum attended Auburn High School where she was recognized as Miss Auburn High of the class of 1955. She was a graduate of Auburn University where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Mrs. Tatum was a realtor for 35 years.
Mrs. Tatum was preceded in death by her parents, John and Aileen Weeks.
She is survived by her husband, Walter M. Tatum; sons, Troy (Scarlet) Tatum, Fairhope, and Scott (Gina) Tatum of Chattanooga, Tenn.; daughter, Kim Tatum, Orange Beach; sisters, Becky Miller, Marietta, Ga., and Denise Stephenson, John’s Creek, Ga.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Foley United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to time of service. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Mrs. Tatum’s name to the Spirit Center of Foley United Methodist Church at 915 North Pine Street, Foley, AL 36535.
