Jonnie Holley Grimes, 78, a resident of Fairhope for 42 years, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 at a local hospital.
She was a hairdresser for over 40 years before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Talmadge Grimes.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Grimes (Michael) Jeter and Tammy Grimes (Greg) Reasons, both of Fairhope; step-daughter, Gail Grimes Price of Atlanta; step-son, Larry Grimes of Kennesaw, Ga.; grandchildren, Karli Jeter, Jonathan Stinson, Allyson Stinson, Larry Anthony Grimes, Andrea Lowe, Andy Durden and Tracy Gast; brother, Phillip Donald Holley of San Diego; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6 atWolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
