Brehanna Nichole Gross and Timothy Scott McMorris were united in marriage in a private ceremony at 5 p.m. Aug. 1, 2009 at Pleasant Hills Chapel, Oakwood, Texas.
The Rev. Jeb S. Dotson, associate pastor of New Life Assembly of God, officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of of Valeri Gross of McAllen, Texas, and Michael Gross of Abilene, Texas. She is the granddaughter of of Audrey Horton of Oakwood, Texas.
She is a 2009 graduate of Fairfield High School and is employed at All Things Write in Fairfield, Texas.
The bridegroom is the son of Tim McMorris of Austin, Texas, and Markita Probst of Bay Minette.
He is a 2004 graduate of Baldwin County HIgh School, Bay Minette and is employed at Pleasant Hills Children’s Home.
The bride, given in marriage by her grandfather, Michael Dennis Gross, wore a white gown embellished with beading. Her bouquet consisted of calla lillies and daisies.
The Rev. Nathan Hall served as pianist/soloist for the ceremony.
A reception at Pleasant Hills Children’s Home followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Gulf Shores, the couple plans to relocate to Pampa, Texas, where they will be the youth pastors at the First Assembly of God.
