GSES 2nd grade alligator touching

Posted

2nd grade students at Gulf Shores Elementary visited the Gulf State park for a field trip in April. During the field trip students observed and learned about many Gulf Coast animals including the following: alligator, snake, turtle, owl, fish and much more. Students learned how these animals survive, what they eat, and what we should do if we come across one of these animals. Students visited the nature center, classroom, and the pier. On the pier students observed various fishermen catching fish including a white trout, a speckled trout, and others. In the picture Bennett Reetz from Mrs. Cendy Hart’s 2nd grade class is touching the baby alligator.
