The second grade classes at Gulf Shores Elementary School enjoyed their recent field trip to the Gulf State Park Nature Center and the Gulf State Park Pier. They learned so much about wildlife found in our area. The Nature Center staff taught them about sea turtles, snakes, horseshoe crabs, land turtles, owls and more in the beautiful new classroom facilities in the park Afterwards, the students got to picnic on the pier and talk a walk all the way out to the end to see what sea life they could observe. It was a great day filled with learning, adventure and fun!
