The kindergarten students in Mrs. Debbie Smith's class at Gulf Shores Elementary School have been mastering the skill of sequencing events and yes, even "Flowers for Moms". In an art project for Mother's Day, the children applied their knowledge of sequencing to surprise their moms. First, the students found their favorite flower in a book and eagerly watched as Mrs. Smith sketched. Next, students chose their favorite paint colors and carefully painted the delicate bouquet. Last, the children will excite their moms with floral gifts on Mother's Day.
