GULF SHORES - Officers in Gulf Shores have announced the establishment of the Gulf Shores Police Association.

To kick things off for the association we are planning a golf scramble hosted at the Gulf Shores Golf Club at 520 Clubhouse Drive. The scramble will be on Nov. 12. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and first tee off will be at 10 a.m.

Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off at Gulf Shores Police Department at 220 Clubhouse Drive until Nov. 8. The cost for a four-person team is $300 and for a single entry it is $85.

The cost includes, golf, range balls, carts, lunch, hole contests, along with team & door prizes. Checks and donations can be made payable to “Gulf Shores Police Association.”

For those looking for a fun and challenging course, come play with us at Gulf Shores Golf Club which is rated as one of the top 10 courses in Alabama by Golf Advisor.
