Jerry Dean Sandifer Guillott, 78, a native of Folsom, La., and a resident of Daphne, died Tuesday, May 04, 2010.
Upon graduation, she became a Minute Clerk of Court in Covington, La. After marrying and having a child, she became involved with the Girl Scout program, starting with her daughter in Brownies.
She joined the Lake Forest Garden and Woman's Clubs. After discovering her mother had Alzheimer's, she became active in getting a support committee here to help others in her situation. She then became involved in community activities such as the Beautification Committee and instigating the recycle program.
She is truly missed and loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Boots” Guillott and brother, Bennie “Mont” Sandifer.
Survivors inlcude a daughter, Kay Guillott of Daphne; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
