Gulf Shores, AL. — The Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce Catch the Island Spirit Committee presented its award for the month of September to Trish McLaurin of Kitty’s Kafe in Gulf Shores.

The nomination for Trish stated, “The food at Kitty’s Kafe is always delicious; Trish McLaurin makes dining there even more enjoyable. Trish is always friendly and eager to serve you. She greets customers by name and is not only an asset to Kitty’s Kafe, but to the community as well! Trish shows her Island Spirit every day.”

In addition to a plaque, Trish received an “Island Spirit” lapel pin, a cash award and flowers from Flowers by the Shore. The Catch the Island Spirit Award is presented each month to an individual who works on our island and offers great customer service to our guests or residents.
