Gulf Coast ELKs Lodge to host Denim & Diamonds Benefit

The Gulf Coast ELKs Lodge in Foley will host its 2nd Annual Denim & Diamonds Benefit for Alzheimer’s on Saturday, March 10, at the Foley Civic Center from 6-9 p.m.

Because this disease touches so many of us, the Gulf Coast ELKs Lodge has chosen this cause as its principal annual fund-raising benefit.

Did you know that: Over five million Americans are affected by Alzheimer’s. This number is expected to rise to 16 million by 2050. The disease costs Americans an estimated $259 billion. Yes, that’s billions with a “B.” Every 66 seconds someone in the U.S develops the disease. One in three seniors die with Alzheimer’s or another dementia. The disease kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. I’m sure you know someone who is affected by it, and the disturbing trend continues.

Please join us on March 10 and add your support to defeat this insidious disease. All funds raised will remain within the state of Alabama. You can help by donating a sponsorship from $100 to $1000. Sponsorships include from two to ten event tickets or donate any amount you are able. Also, tickets may be purchased at the door for $25, which includes your entry and meal. Consider donating an item that can be auctioned during the live event. Prizes will also be awarded. Donations and prizes can be dropped off at the Gulf Coast ELKs Lodge at 2621 S. Juniper Street, Foley. If you have questions, we invite you to call 251-424-7375 or 251-550-0602. Your support and donations to this event are greatly appreciated.
