Gulf Coastal Photography Club announces winners

The Coastal Photography Club’s monthly theme for December was events in 2010 in South Baldwin County that made the news.

 There was a three way tie for first place. Winners of the monthly contest were first place Jeane Carlson with her photo of the oil cleanup at Alabama Point, Capt. Mark Robinson with his photo from the Bon Jovi concert, and Carol Brooks with her photo of oil soaked feet.

Second place went to Louise Childs of Foley with her photo taken at Fort Morgan of the oil cleanup, and third place went to Ray Baker  with his photo taken at the polo match at Point Clear.  Next month’s topic is pictures of couples/lovers

The Club meets the first Friday of each month at the Foley Senior Citizens Center at 7 p.m. at the  corner of Cypress and Rose. The January meeting, however, will be the annual banquet which will be held at Wolf Bay Lodge starting at 6 p.m.  For more information about the club contact Capt.
