Gulf Shores, AL — Patrick W. Bussey III of Gulf Shores, President of Bussey Capital Management LLC, has been selected as one of Mobile Bay magazine’s 2011 Class of “Forty Under 40.”

Each year, the publication chooses an elite group of 40 individuals under the age of 40 who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence and a commitment to the Bay area community.

Bussey joined brokerage firm Sterne Agee in Birmingham in 2000 and spent three years as lead analyst for products across Sterne Agee’s family of companies, advising the firm’s financial advisors on investment strategies for their clients. In 2005, he moved home to Gulf Shores and formed Bussey Capital Management LLC. Locally, he is involved in multiple organizations including: Gulf United Metro Business Organization (GUMBO)-Board of Directors, Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce-Executive Board, South Baldwin Chamber Foundation-Board of Directors, Baldwin County Judicial Selection Commission and St. Paul’s Episcopal Chapel Vestry. Additionally, Bussey has been involved in multiple political campaigns.

Bussey and fellow honorees were recognized at the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel during an awards luncheon Nov. 30. The 3rd Annual “Forty Under 40” Class is featured in the December 2011 issue of Mobile Bay Magazine.
